Compensation Analyst

We currently have an outstanding career opportunity for a Compensation Analyst. Use your robust project management and compensation acumen to research, design, develop and implement a Long-Term Incentive Program (LTIP), in collaboration with an outside consulting firm. Work closely with Global Headquarters, executives and HR to recommend solutions to ensure programs are competitively and consistently administered in compliance with all state and federal regulations.

We require strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, the talent to scale an evolving compensation structure in a fast-paced ambiguous environment, and the capability to present clear narratives with data to all stakeholders. Required

Responsibilities

  • Lead compensation project to develop, plan, implement and administer LTIP for organization; manage collaboration with outside consulting firm.
  • Plan and administer established equity programs and stock option grants, including vesting schedules and exercise history.
  • Cooperate with legal, finance, and HR departments to distribute and communicate resources, compliance, grant process, and management reports.
  • Produce reports to Global Corporate Headquarters and provide frequent updates to CEO, CFO and HR.
  • Develop, implement, and administer sales commission and incentive programs to attract and retain talent.
  • Conduct analysis of jobs, hourly wages, salaries, and incentives in order to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of the organization’s pay practices.
  • Make recommendations regarding salary grades or market rates for specific jobs.
  • Develop and administer compensation scheme, tied to performance review or merit-rating program.
  • Review salary increases with HR for compliance with organization policy and budget.
  • Evaluate compensation programs for internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of the organization’s compensation practices.
  • Review benchmarking and market pricing data to recommend best practice for company compensation program and LTIP.
  • Convert compensation-related data into meaningful narratives for key stakeholders.
  • Recommends corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems.
  • Reviews existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration and recommends appropriate courses of action.

Qualifications

  • BS Business Administration, HR, Finance or related years of experience, preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in HR Analytics and Compensation.
  • Professional certifications through WorldatWork, such as CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) strongly preferred.
  • Tech industry experience preferred.

Doosan GridTech is actively seeking a Senior Power System Applications Engineer to support our growing Turnkey Energy Storage System (ESS) business. Use your power systems engineering knowledge, vendor management skills and proposal-grade design background to provide technical applications support for Turnkey EPC proposals and contract projects which deploy storage solutions with Utilities and IPP customers who are incorporating distributed energy resources into the grid.

  • Work with the Sales team and the technical project management team to identify customer technical specifications during the proposal phase of a bid cycle
  • Develop and manage ESS solution design tool by collaborating with internal and external teams; Propose competitive ESS solution based on each RFP requirements
  • Lead the engineering integration of components (batteries, inverters, transformers, switchgear etc.) that result in Doosan’s turnkey ESS offering; Drive updates and continuous improvement into Doosan’s designs
  • Support bankability analysis of potential vendor partners with an emphasis on technical capability
  • Build Doosan’s ESS technology roadmap by performing technical due diligence of products and systems
  • Manage vendor/supplier relationships to deliver customer value
  • Evaluate product and systems risk during proposal and post-award phase; once a project is awarded support Project Managers in the transition to project delivery

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ demonstrated experience in electrical power system engineering
  • Experience working on utility scale electrical power system projects or distributed energy resource projects is strongly preferred
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related electrical power systems field with 7+ years’ direct engineering experience within an electric utility or MS in Electrical Engineering or related electrical power systems field with 4 + years’ direct engineering experience
  • Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) in any state desired

  • Set up meetings with customers and partners, develop meeting agendas, and drive the meetings.
  • Coordinate development and delivery of key project materials such as design documents, drawings, and manuals.
  • Efficiently and effectively track issues throughout the life of active projects
  • Author customer-facing documents in support of systems integration work (e.g. test plans and reports).
  • Manage the change order process with customers and vendors

Qualifications

  • Create and coordinate the delivery and quality assurance of key engineering drawings and reports. Manage the PE certification process for electrical design drawings.
  • Provide engineering support for component solicitations including the evaluation of power conversion systems and battery systems from multiple vendors.
  • Author customer-facing documents to help them implement energy storage designs (e.g. installation plans).
  • Work with others in Doosan GridTech to identify design and performance improvements in Doosan GridTech’s delivered systems.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years demonstrated experience in electrical power system engineering. Experience on utility electrical power system projects or distributed energy resource projects is strongly preferred.

Doosan GridTech is actively seeking an experienced Program Manager, C&I to build project strategy for C&I markets in California and the East Coast and West Coast, United States. Build relationships with clients, design/implement program strategies and plans, as well as develop and execute marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross functional teams, including Project Development, Sales and Business Development and CEO to build project strategy for new markets. With primary focus being California, East Coast and West Coast, United States.
  • Design and deliver effective C&I programs, including identification of sales channels, analysis and selection of appropriate product and service offerings.
  • Implement C&I program for customer engagement, with small size developers and contractors and other channel partners for business development.
  • Develop strategy to drive business development.
  • Develop comprehensive plan to include: resource/labor projections, implementation, project and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC)
  • Maintain comprehensive project tracking and provide leadership with relevant status updates and trending information.

Doosan GridTech currently has an outstanding career opportunity for an experienced Tendering Lead Engineer to join our growing Australian team. Use your electrical or mechanical engineering knowledge, vendor management skills and proposal-grade design background to produce tender designs for Turnkey EPC proposals for Australia and the islands, as well as supporting our U.S. based ESS Commercial Operations team.

In this critical new role, you will be leading the tender approval process to deploy storage solutions with Utilities, Developers and IPP customers who are incorporating distributed energy resources into the grid. This position is based in Melbourne, Australia.

  • Lead the engineering integration of components (batteries, inverters, transformers, switchgear etc.) that result in Doosan’s turnkey ESS offering; Drive updates and continuous improvement into Doosan’s designs.
  • Support bankability analysis of potential vendor partners with an emphasis on technical capability.
  • Identify/fill gaps in scope and design for incomplete document for the completion of price estimates.
  • Prepare and submit contract documents for legal and risk reviews.
  • Create/track internal work breakdown for both internal and external stakeholders during bid preparation.
  • Support Doosan’s ESS technology roadmap by performing technical due diligence of products and systems.
  • Manage vendor/supplier relationships to deliver customer value.
  • Evaluate product and systems risk during proposal and post-award phase; once a project is awarded support Project Managers in the transition to project delivery.
  • Reporting directly to Director ESS Commercial Operations based in U.S and when in country reporting to General Manager, Australia.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience preparing clear and concise content and /or proposal submissions for electrical or mechanical engineering requirement.
  • 3+ years’ demonstrated experience in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience working on utility scale electrical projects or distributed energy resource projects is strongly preferred
  • BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years’ direct engineering experience within an electric utility
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia.
